ABOUT THE SEMINAR

This 15 CE COPE-submitted seminar is intended to educate the Doctor of Optometry on how to treat and prevent systemic and ocular disease using dietary supplements, new drugs, and changes in lifestyle. Current pharmaceutical and anti-aging therapies including IPL (dry eye & chalazion treatment) hormone therapy, NAD+ and IV therapy will provide optometric physicians with cutting-edge therapies to treat and prevent and treat disease. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Bio:  Edward Paul, OD, Ph.D., FIALVS

*Dr. Paul is an experienced clinician and educator having served as professor of ophthalmology at St. Luke’s University School of Medicine in Belize. The Consumer Research Council of America previously chose him as one of “America’s Top Optometrists”. Dr. Paul is one of 30 eye physicians in the United States to be recognized as a Fellow of the International Academy of Low-Vision Specialists. He is a 1986 graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where he received a Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.), and also holds a second doctorate, a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.), in Nutrition.

Beyond his research and medical practice, Dr. Paul is the author of several books, including Conquering Macular Degeneration, Alternative Cures, and 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health. Furthermore, he serves as a contributing writer for several national magazines including Rodale Press, publisher of Prevention magazine. He is a frequent guest on television and radio programs, having been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, and Lifetime Television.

Dr. Paul is an accredited diplomat by the United States Department of State representing the Central American nation of Belize as Consul to the United States of America.
