ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The days of marketing your practice through esthetic dentistry may be over or a losing battle. Research shows that over twenty five percent of the dental population do not visit a dentist on a regular basis out of fear. They may be afraid of the injection, the sound of the drill or the anticipated pain associated with a dental procedure.
This program, in a lecture format, is designed for the entire dental team, specialists and practitioners with all levels of experience. I will discuss the unique problems or concerns associated with treating anxious patients. Their teeth and the oral cavity may look the same but they often require outside the box restorative solutions. I will cover everything: Starting with Tender Loving Care (TLC) and local anesthesia to non-pharmacological and pharmacological ways to manage your patients.
Utilizing real patients and case selections I will demonstrate restorative solutions that you can incorporate into your practice when you return to the office on Monday. Resin reinforced composite materials utilizing the FiberReStore technique are a game changer for this group of patients. Rotary Endodontics allows predictable one visit treatment therapy saving teeth in a fraction of the time. However, in order to treat the apprehensive patient, they need to be in your chair and accepting treatment.
You are a good dentist and this program will show you how to become a great dentist in the eyes of your patients. My practice was dedicated to treating the anxious patient and over the past 42 years I’ve developed systems to treat this underserved group of dental patients.
